Genital Wart Prevention
Total abstinence is the only fullproof way of genital wart prevention and of avoiding other STDs (Sexually Transmitted Disease) and best for genital wart prevention... You can also promote genital wart prevention by having a monogamous sexual relationship with a partner known to be disease-free, genital wart free.
Skin near the warts and around the genitals, anus, and other areas can pass the HPV2 virus from one person to the next. Genital warts could be located beyond condom higher on shaft, or ondom could roll down a little during sexual activity. Therefore, male and female condoms cannot fully protect you from warts and especially is not a 100% valid genital wart protection method.
Nonetheless, condoms should still be used. They reduce your chances of getting or spreading STDs like AIDS, HERPES.
Genital wart prevention precautions must be taken at all times. HPV genital warts can be passed from person to person even when there are no visible genital warts or other symptoms. It is estimated that +50% of American population have HPV and/ or genital warts.
Genital wart prevention warning: Genital warts could start up a disgusting and most bothersome wart colony in your throat!
Try swallowing that! Imagine getting throat, gum, tongue or mouth genital warts treated or operated on! Throat genital warts are a side effect of oral-sex and mostly pestering the poor women who pleasured their man with oral sex (sucking his penis) but also common amongst gays.
Genital wart prevention and handling:
Have your (male) partner checked for warts, genital warts (and other diseases like AIDS) by a doctor prior indulging in oral sex and pleasures, or you may choke on it later!
Call your doctor if a current or past sexual partner is found to have genital warts. Call if you have visible genital warts on your external genitals, itching, discharge, or abnormal vaginal bleeding. Keep in mind that genital warts may not appear for months to years after having sexual contact with an infected person.
Call your doctor if a young child is thought to possibly have genital warts. Have a good close talk with your infected child to find out whether he or she was sexually abused by anyone!!! If you have no line of communication between you then have a therapist talk with your child. Use EFT for helping child cope. Remember: Worldwide, 25% of women (a careful estimate) are sexually abused and / raped by either a family member/ relation or "friend". Young boys and girls are especially in risk, so any genital warts or other STD should light up bright red danger signals for you!
Sexually active teens are very susceptible to HPV genital warts or other warts and should get screened for HPV infection regularly and taught to use condoms as well as wait till their partners get a medical check first.
