NONI FRUIT LEATHER - USAGE, BENEFITS

Noni Fruit Leather is a very adaptable substance that can be used in many ways.There are simple techniques to treat most internal and external maladies.
Noni Fruit Leather can be used topically or internally for alleviating the pain and aiding the healing of skin, arthritis, muscular aches, bone breaks, bruises, sprains, carpel tunnel syndrome.
Noni Fruit Leather is useful and effective in the treatment of internal and external bacteria, yeasts and fungi.
Noni Fruit Leather is a powerful treatment for mouth, gum, and throat disorders, by using a gargle, chew, or plaster to have the noni come into contact with the affected area.  

For Internal Use: Noni Fruit Leather is most often eaten as is. Noni Fruit Leather is possibly most effective on an empty stomach, eaten as the first thing in the morning, but may be eaten at any time of day as needed.

A recommended dosage of noni fruit leather can be anywhere from a two-inch square to one ounce daily, depending whether it is being used for a maintenance dose or a serious condition needing immediate results.

You Can Either:
1) Chew up pieces of noni fruit leather (the most common practice) with or without an accompanying liquid, such as water, juice, or tea.
2) Drink - Roll up pieces of noni fruit leather in a cup of hot water or tea, stir after a moment, and drink; add a sweetener if necessary.
3) Put pieces of noni fruit leather into a blender with juice or water and possibly a banana or other favorite 'smoothie' fruit, let these pieces of noni fruit leather soak for a moment in the liquid, then blend and drink. (Yum!)

External Use: Depending on the specific need, Noni Fruit Leather can be used to make a multitude of external healing aids:
1) An excellent biodegradeable bandage or wound covering can be made by cutting a piece of noni fruit leather to the size of the area to be covered, moistening until tacky, applying to the area, smoothing down the edges to seal and allowing to dry.
2) Noni fruit leather plaster pieces may be put into a bowl and mixed with a small amount of water, let sit for a moment, then mixing into a paste or plaster for covering difficult areas.
3) Noni fruit leather cream - more water may be mixed in with a piece of noni fruit leather to form a cream, salve, or lotion, for penetration through the skin into muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones, nerves and organs. A 4*4 inch piece of noni fruit leather in 2oz.(1/4 Cup) of water makes a good lotion. Soak noni fruit leather in a bowl for 1/2 hour and stir well.
4) A similar noni fruit leather mixture may be rubbed into the scalp and hair for an anti-parasitic and rejuvenating shampoo - a noni tincture may be made by combining Noni Fruit Leather with vinegar for a powerful local antiseptic and antibiotic.

All external applications can be removed simply with warm water.

The Downsides of the magic one time wart varnish - as we see it:

Prior to anti wart varnish application you must scratch entire wart surface (remove cauliflower top/ callus if necessary) with supplied sterile stainless needle.

Definitely not recommended for treating kids or for you, if you are the squirmish type! I can tell you, my girl screamed and cried like mad when I tried scratching her painful warts! She wasn't seduced by anything to sit put and have me dig and scratch her warts!
Even for adults it is not entirely pain free! You need to visualize results and grit your teeth!

Some warts such as common hand warts may require more than one application. These warts are very stubborn and hard to kill warts because they have layers of thick skin covering them. It is very important to remove these layers of hard skin covering the wart using clean nail clippers and / or supplied scratching tool. Scratch all sides of the wart also. If necessary simply scratch harder so as to penetrate outer layer. Scratch deeper and reapply.
Calluses covering warts must be softened and removed prior to treatment. Once you have removed the skin covering the wart and completely stopped any bleeding you can apply varnish.
After 20-30 minutes, you'll need to wipe wart area firmly (ouch, remember, wart is all scratched and was bleeding, now acided) with wet cotton swab - you'll need to try to remove as much of the wart as possible. This will remove all or part of wart allowing the next wart treatments to go deeper and kill the wart roots.
Dry wart area and immediately re-apply anti wart cream for another 20-30 minutes. Wart should turn black. You may need to do 2 or 3 back to back treatments to get it to turn completely black and to kill the roots.

USE WITH CHILDREN: Wart Mole Vanish can be used with children (they claim) as long as they can sit patiently while undergoing the application procedure.
The stinging sensation can be significant for sensitive children. Caution is advised. Not recommended if they will scratch scab off pre maturely!
It is highly important to let scab alone (up to 3 weeks)! Treated wart becomes a cauterized scab. Be careful not to disturb or remove scab as premature removal can lead to scarring. Let it fall off naturally within 1-3 weeks.

Whenever attempting to manipulate or change the dermis one should expect that a blemish or scar may result. In most circumstances they claim the use of the product will result in a minor and temporary blemish that normally fades away within 90 days.

Self-applied conventional wart treatments

To be successful you must identify and reach the warts, and follow the application instructions carefully.

• Podophyllotoxin solution (CondylineT, WartecT) destroys the affected skin cells so the warts shrink or disappear. Podophyllotoxin solution contains purified podophyllin in a more standardised form. It is not recommended for internal use or for extensive warts (more than 10 square centimetres). It should not be used during pregnancy.
• Imiquimod cream (Aldara) enhances the body's immune response to the infection. Warts seem less likely to recur compared to other treatments. Imiquimod is more effective for women than for men, probably because of differences in genital skin. It may cause burning and even ulceration as it clears up the warts. Although annoying, the treatment can usually be continued. Imiquimod is not currently recommended during pregnancy.

Treatment at the clinic for warts, genital warts.

• Cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen is effective for both dry and moist warts and can be used for external and internal warts. It may be the best treatment during pregnancy. It is moderately painful and blistering sometimes occurs. Treating large warts or large numbers of warts at one time can also be messy and unpleasant.
• Podophyllin resin 10%-25% suspension in benzoin tincture contains a number of agents, including podophyllotoxin. Preparations vary greatly in their concentration of active components and contaminants, the shelf life and stability of podophyllin resin are unknown, and well-standardised preparations are not available. As a result, it is no longer commonly used in New Zealand. Podophyllin is not recommended for use on wart areas of more than 10 square centimetres, as it can be toxic. It must not be used in pregnant women.
• Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) solution is a caustic agent. It must be applied sparingly and carefully or it may "run", damaging normal tissue. It is not commonly used to treat warts in New Zealand.
• Electrocautery or diathermy physically destroys the warts by burning them. Local or general anaesthesia can be used.
• Curettage and scissor or scalpel excisions directly remove the warts. Suturing is rarely required. Some pain is likely. Secondary bacterial infection is an occasional complication.
• Laser ablation is sometimes recommended for extensive infection, or difficult-to-reach areas such as the cervix, but it is not widely available in New Zealand.
• 5% fluorouracil cream (Efudix) is currently a specialist-only medication in New Zealand. It is a cytotoxic agent i.e. it destroys abnormal cells. It can result in very painful erosions so it is not recommended for routine treatment of warts and should not be used in pregnancy.
• Vaccine development is an area of active research, and several different approaches are being tested in animal models, including "therapeutic" vaccines that might help those already infected.

Other therapies

• Interferon is an antiviral agent that is effective when it is injected into genital warts. Side-effects are common e.g. a flu-like illness and pain at the injection site. Interferon injections are generally only used for those who have not responded to other treatments and are not currently licensed in NZ. Systemic and topical interferon have not been found to be helpful for genital warts.
• 5-fluorouracil/epinephrine-gel implant contains the same drug as in 5% fluorouracil cream, together with a vasoconstricting agent and a stabilising gel. The mixture is injected into the genital skin, near the warts. It can result in very painful erosions so it is not recommended for routine treatment of warts and should not be used in pregnancy. It is not currently licensed in NZ.
• Cidofovir is a newly developed antiviral drug that is being investigated for treatment of genital warts.
